In the past I've heard of people sanding down Butyrate covered airplanes down to silver then respraying the color. Is this really a viable option for an airplane who's fabric will punch test good, but is aesthetically in bad shape? I'm curious because there is a local Cub in my area that was done in Butyrate up through silver then then I believe the color is Imron paint and bad shape, but beyond that can be bought for a fairly good deal. Thoughts?

Regards,

James Goodnight
