Hello all, I thought I would post some pics of my old J3 being restored. NC20231. An old J3 cub (1937). On the first Type Certificate of A-660. Originally had an A-40 with one magneto on it. I am upgrading to a C-85 with the help of Paul Babcock's STC. I started a photo gallery site if anybody wanted to look at it. I am still posting the pictures. Right now, the plane is getting covered and painted. Hopefully flying in a month or two!

I have a lot of pre-restoration pics as well.

I have heard that this is the oldest J-3 that is still airworthy and flying but I have not confirmed that. Maybe somebody could comment on it.

I got a lot of help from this forum on the restoration including the Paul Babcock STC to upgrade the engine. I thought I was really screwed there. So glad I found out about this STC.

Thanks all!!!!!!!
