I recently replaced the liner tubes attaching the halves of my horizontal stabilizer to my fuselage, and when I was finished, I made some notes on my procedure. I relied heavily on the advice of Clyde Smith in two of his "The Cub Doctor" articles, and I am very happy with the results. The holes in the new liner tubes are nice and tight. A copy of my notes are attached in case anyone may find them helpful. They may give you some food for thought if you ever need to replace your liner tubes. I also recommend that you read Clyde's articles, which I identify in the attached notes. The best advice I can give you is to take your time and be as careful and accurate as possible when drilling the holes.
