I ordered one of those automatic pitot tube covers from Aircraft Spruce recently....after waiting for it to arrive from being back ordered, it finally arrived yesterday. Apparently, they have changed the design. Where it used to be a clamp and screw (shown below) they have now replaced it with a threaded sleeve design which slips over the pitot tube along with a ferrule and nut. Unfortunately, it is designed for 1/4" outside diameter and it won't tighten down on the 3/16" tubing on the Cub. I'd rather not have to shim it up for appearance sake. Guess I will if I can't find the clamp type.

We've had one of these on Rick's Cub since 1969 and it has worked perfectly. What are you folks using? I have a couple of emails out to folks who advertise the type show below (which is also what ACS shows in the catalog and online) to see if it really is the same.
