I flew over to Franklin airport ( FKN ) yesterday to shoot some pics of the abandoned B 25 on the field. Took a few with the L 4 as well. This one turned out decent. The 25 has been sitting there for as long as I can remember without the left engine I would say at least 12 years. There is also a PT 26 sitting close by that is rotting into the ground. The prop has literally rotted off the aircraft over the years where only part of the hub is left.

It makes me sick to see these planes just left to rot like this. All sorts of stories floating around as to who really owns them, why they are there and why nothing can be done about it. These old warbirds deserve better.

She was a B 25 J and was the camera ship for the Battle of Britain movie back in 67
