C-85 overhaul is nearing completion. :) Should be back into the air this week. In January I decided to put a new top end on the Cub. Purchased factory new cylinders, disassembled and of course found issues with cam which led to a complete overhaul. Motor only had around 600 hours since the last overhaul but that was in 1976 and had oil seeping from just about everywhere. So now in addition to new cylinders there is new cam, new crank (stroker conversion), accessory case as original was out of tolerance. Motor is back in almost new condition. The mount also got new powder coating. I believe the performance should be a noticeable gain as after seeing the condition of the original cam I know I was not getting 85hp.
