I Have to say, I love tinkering around the Hangar and replacing worn parts (legally) and was looking at the Tailwheel. According to the Logbooks the Scott Tailwheel 2000 was completely overhauled in 2011. Looking back there the springs look ok I guess but I noticed that there is on chain on the left side and 2 on the right (does that matter?) I ordered the replacement springs, chains & Clips but not sure if it's even in need or worth the trouble?

Here is a pic of what I am referring to. let me know what you think. (airplane taxies ok but every now and then it's like I simply can't get it to turn right unless I use a significant amount of right brake. (I don't think it's the case of locking/unlocking tailwheel etc....
