Over the years, I’ve experienced starts with no oil pressure (maybe six times). This has typically occurred after long periods between starts or after removing the oil screen overnight. The common solutions have always done the trick, particularly lifting the tail overhear for a minute or so.

This weekend, three weeks after annual I started up with oil pressure. I tried lifting the tail four times. I injected oil into the O.P. gauge output port and also into the pressure relief valve port. I blasted air in through the filler neck. Still no O.P.. I injected oil into the gauge and it is working fine.

Before I start going to more extreme measures, has anyone else had success with other simple solutions.

Ideas?

Josh
