New Year's Eve, 2007.
What better way to close out the year than an evening flight with a couple of Piper Cubs. One a SuperCub and one a slow J3!

Jim Newton stopped in at Front Royal, VA, this afternoon, and we finally met in person, and looked at each other's aircraft.

Boy, a SuperCub sure is roomy compared to a J3. Beautiful airplane, Jim. Then we took off together and flew down the Shenandoah Valley for a few pictures.

Here you can see we are flying below the Skyline Drive again, same place where the other day the road went up into the clouds.
