Hi Folks, newbie to the site. Looks like a good place to find out more about the cubs. Still trying to figure out how all those other guys can afford the super cubs. Somebody might fill me in since I missed out on the lottery. Anyway I have a '46 cub N6493H that I purchased last fall from Marion Cole. Some of you might recognize the name, a true legend. Anyway, a couple of weeks after Christmas, I was visiting with Marion and he just found out that this cub was in a movie called Night Moves with Gene Hackman, released in 1975. I bought the movie and found out the stunt pilot was Dean Engelhardt. I called him and he had quite a few stories about the movie and the stunts. Anyway, you can do a search on Night Moves movie posters and there is one blown up poster you can see about half on the N numbers. Kinda neat story I thought I would share.
