I have somewhat over 100 hours on this brand new Knisley muffler assembly. There was always a gap on each end between the muffler assembly and the shroud. However, today was the first time I noticed that the shroud had slipped slightly to the left, and the edge was starting to wear and feather. The photo show that I have tapped the shroud back in place.

My question is there a way to mitigate this feathering?

Thanks for taking a look.
