Recently ran across some more old slides I had never before seen. I've been scanning them and thought I'd share a few Cub photos here. The slide frames are dated September 1961. That is about right as my dad had traded in his Stearman duster/sprayers for Piper Pawnees in late 59/early 1960 and several of the same slide group were of his shiney new Pawnees. Also, my mom got serious about getting her license in late 1961 and actually obtaining it in 1962.

The Cub is N38320 which was owned by my parents at that time. Dad recovered it with Razorback after this sometime prior to selling it to a partnership of farmer friends. It passed amongst several local folks before another local ag pilot bought it and kept it for several years. My brother bought it in the early 80s and repainted it. I actually have photos of this plane in three different paint schemes....
