Guys,

Still having a blast with my C-85 Stroker, but have a couple of questions as I'm almost half way through the recommended 25hr break-in period.

I'm about 15 hrs into the break-in, and have been running a solid 75% poower settings (2,300RPM +/-) As the rings, etc have been seating, it would appear I'm getting a couple hundred more RPMs at WPOT than at first, I'm assuming this is the purpose of an agressive break-in operation.

Otherwise, I'm getting a solid 87-90mph at 2,300RPM driving a Sensenich metal 74/42 prop. Still wonder if it'll tow my glider but that's another story.

Also, I'm still running straight mineral oil, and didn't have a lot of warm WX operating experience here in the PNW. It's been in the high 80s - low 90s lately and I noticed that my oil temps have been rising to about the 140 mark, especially in climbs which I know is normal. Just not used to seeing it, as I rarely get temps beyond 100 degrees F. Can I expect anything different with straight Aeroshell 40WT I plan to run after break-in?

It only caught my eye cuz' I'm planning to fly it from WA to AL next summer and was thinking that would be a miserable flight if the oil kept topping out across AZ, TX, etc.

Mike-
