Purchased a 1948 PA-17 Vagabond March 2018. It has original airframe and engine logbooks. My Vag now has a C85 installed.

The original 1948 Continental A-65-8 SN-61123-8-8 logbooks #1 & #2 were included when I purchased the Vagabond from June 1948 test flight to June 1972 when the engine was removed.

I know the odds are against getting these logbooks back to the correct person, but wanted to give it a try if anyone here happens to have this engine installed in their airplane.

If anyone finds other missing logbooks, please post, may be able to get them back to the correct aircraft or engine owner.
