I decided to raise my liability limits up off of the minimum. On my 182 I went to $1 million smooth...no problem...a couple hundred extra bucks in premium. But on the J3 I could only get $1 million with a $200,000 per passenger sub-limit. Is anyone else is able to get higher sub-limits? My broker says they won't quote a smooth limit for tail wheels. A friend of mine who has fewer hours than I do is able to get $300,000 per passenger in his J3.
