Fat Cub is getting upgraded 3/8 gear fittings and is on the way (weigh?) to 1220 gross weight, yea!

The welder (works mainly on Super Cubs) and I were uncertain about the correct placement for the left side D-window frame. Thanks Keri-Ann for finding a photo that solved those questions!

From the photo, and parts manual, it looks like we need to fabricate channel extensions running forward from the curved D-window frame. These extensions would join the curved D-frame at the vertical tube that connects with the aft spar fitting and extend forward to the aft slider channel. Is that correct?

What gauge have people used for that channel extension?

Thanks for your help.
