Last flight November 21, 2009?
I regret to inform my friends on J3.com that I may have made my last J-3 flight on November 21, 2009.
In late February, after a 15 year experience with cancer including 4 years of clinical research trials at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD, things suddenly got much worse.
I have enjoyed the site, learning much and trying to contribute, mostly when I dont have to guess or can do some research to verify my post. I have enjoyed adding photo stories, and thank those of you who have commented positively. I splurged in November and bought a full 35 mm frame size Nikon700 camera and better telephoto lenses to try for better pictures but never got to take it up.
My aircraft is being represented by Rich Largent of EAA Chapter 186, and all contact is to be made as shown on the following link:
http://www.eaa186.org/Shaw J-3 Cub.pdf Please do not contact me on this. I will not comment on price or any aspect of the aircraft. I am out of service.
Good luck to all of you. Stay friendly and keep flying.
I suppose this should be on aircraft for sale.
Will, thanks again for providing the opportunity for us to exchange knowledge, advice, opinions, guesses and just plain nonsense!
