All,

With the rear platform that differs from a J3 canvas sling, I assume the rear seat cushion is smaller, doesn't have the front flap that hangs down, nor does the cushion extent to the sides of the fuselage. That being said, does anyone have the dimensions of the rear seat cushion? Is it the same as the front seat (I would think it's wider).

Furthermore, I've seen both black vinyl and canvas seat cushions on restored aircraft and I don't want to bring up a touchy subject, but were the black vinyl ones stock J3 cushions (buttons and all)? Is there any proof there were canvas ones produced at the factory? Running for cover!

These questions pertain to L-4H/Js.

Thanks for putting up with all the questions!
