L-4B Maximum Baggage Weight

Hey Folks,

I'm hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction.

I'm prepping an L-4B for the journey to Hartford and then to KOSH, and I'm confused about the weight limits in the baggage compartment.

The POH in the documents section of this site suggests that the limit is 50lbs, but I've read elsewhere (more generically) that the limit is 20lbs.

It'll be just me, with most of my baggage in the seat in front of me, but I still need to hide a tent and some other stuff in the rear baggage compartment, and I want to make sure I don't mess with the C of G in a way that would produce bad results.

Any help or direction you can provide would be appreciated.
