I thought I would let everyone see my project, this plane was a TG-8 glider I found in a field and wanted to restore, serial # G-185. Was converted to a j-3 in 1946 and I am converting to a L-4 because I like the looks of the L-4 over the j-3. I am painting invasion stripes because I like the looks. This plane was used in WWII to train glider pilots by replacing the engine with a student. I have been working on this plane for 8 months and maybe 5 more to finish. Hope you enjoy the pics and the fact that another Cub will be in the sky. Feel free to comment.
