Hi, I'm new to the forum and presently refurbishing a Wag-Aero Sport Trainer. I am considering changing it so it looks like an L4. I have been doing a little research and have found some photos and a little information, but there isn't much out there.
Does anybody have a good source for pictures, history and nose art for the O-59/L-4 aircraft? I would like to find an L-4 the has an interesting history to replicate. I spent 20 years flying in Papua, Indonesia so this is one area of interest. Does anyone know anything about L-4s that were in Papua New Guinea, especially the Hollandia / Biak Island airstrips or even in the Pacific theatre.
