I couldn't resist posting this clip of a not so succesful landing (I don't know if it was planned) by a swiss L-4 slightly below the summit of Mont Blanc, France in 1951:

Note the prop repair at the end! They do seem to have changed their mind and brought a new prop with which they got off the mountain. I wonder about the rudder repair though...
