Just an FYI for everyone. I had a sticky Airspeed Indicator. It would get stuck between 60-80 and the needle would stay there until shut-down. A gentle tap and it would return towards zero. I sent the ASI to Keystone Instruments for repair and calibration. It took them about two weeks. Shipping during the holidays delayed it a few days getting back to me. Prior to install I did a light low PSI blow of the pitot system, from inward towards outward. I noticed a light mist and dust from the pitot tube. I should have collected it in a balloon or something, just to see what was in there, but I didn't expect anything. Installed the ASI and went flying. ASI is better than ever. Compared the ASI to the GPS ground speed in several different flight profiles, and the ASI seems to be really close. I'm delighted. Keystone was quick and responsive. I borrowed an ASI from another member on the forum to keep me flying during the repair, Thanks again for the loaner. Keystone operates best if you call them. Two Thumbs Up for Keystone.
