We just finished the annual on my 46 Cub and the AI said we need to look at the slop in the stab jackscrew assembly and address it before the next annual. There seems to be wear/slop at all the points. The yoke on the screw has some slop, the screw itself moves up and down a bit in the holder, where the yoke attaches to the tube on the front of the stab there is some slop. It appears all the parts need to be replaced. it looks like the screw needs to come out through the fabric on the top. Is that true?
Is there much of a difference between Univair and Wag Aero on these parts?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Tom
