After asking a few questions I got quite a bit of interest in my J4A restoration, so i thought i would start a thread for others to chime and and share information.
Luckily I have been an A&P about as long as this J4 has been sitting.
Quick aircraft background:
I picked this up mid October 2021
It has been sitting about 30 years
Always based in the Midwest USA
It was flipped on its back damaging the struts, wings, rudder, and birdcage.
The previous owner had the wings rebuilt with all new spars and Dakota Cub ribs, one wing is done, the other is 3/4 the way there.
Engine is an A75-9, yep the odd duck with the unobtainable starter option
