I received two sets of wing struts with the J2 project I've been working on. Now I am at the point of first fit of the wings, fuselage and struts. After looking at the two sets I know neither are airworthy but noticed a difference in the wing attach ends.

I believe both sets are actually J3 as the major and minor axis are J3 size. One set has the normal wing strut end with the strap wrapped end but the other has a drilled tube for the attach point. What would the tube end struts have been produced for - 1938 Cubs??

Also, I know the chances are about the same as winning the lotto but would anyone have a set of E2 or J2 serviceable struts for sale?

Thanks for any input

Bill
