I have a set of Federal 1500A skis with 8" wide bottoms that I am thinking of selling. I bought these for a different plane and they have cub rigging on them. I found a set already set up for the my plane and I am thinking it would be more cost effective to buy this set and sell the ones with the cub rigging. The one's I am looking at to buy have UHMV on them, rigged for my plane and he wants $1500 for them. Actually, they were on the plane before I bought it and at the time he didn't want to sell them with the plane. I have never flown skis so I'm going to try and discover ANOTHER way to have fun flying. Heck, where I live its either lakes or snow and I already fly floats in the summer so I may as well learn to enjoy the winters too.
Anyone have any idea what these may be worth? Again, they are Federal 1500A's that have had the bottoms replaced with 8" wide metal and have Cub rigging.
Thanks,
Keith
