A friend was restoring a Cub and went to Super Cub stab and elevators, but did that after he had beautifully covered and finished his J-3 tail feathers. The workmanship is meticulous, the tapes and stitching virtually perfect. I believe it is covered with the Super Flite system. One horizontal stab is missing the final coat of Cub yellow. A few minor chips and scuffs from hangar rash, but otherwise perfect.
As a favor to my buddy I am asking $800.00 for the set. I will entertain any and all offers. I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area, and will be happy to drive to meet anyone halfway within a reasonable distance. I am not sure I could crate and ship these with any assurance of a safe arrival, but I do regularly fly a Learjet around the country, and may be able to find some mutually agreeable arrangement for delivery on one of my trips.
