Help & advice needed please....
I need to replace a totally damaged J-3 cowling assy (firewall fwd) on my Corben Baby Ace as a result of an in-flight prop delamination. Many parts on the Ace are J-3 ....i.e. landing gear, wheels & brakes, etc.
Not owning a J-3 like most of you, I'd like some advice in getting her back into the air. I've located the upper/lower nosebowl assy (fiberglass) from Wag Aero. I can't source/find the upper & lower cowling (attaches rear of the nosebowl). My eyebrows are OK. Is what I need just flat metal that I can form/bend & add fasteners to....OR am I looking at a job that would be a bit more difficult?
Thanks in advance for all help ..... Marvin
