The newest iPhone (14) has an SOS function. In an effort to simplify my GoPro flying videos, I decided to clamp my iPhone under the wing, forgetting that it's relatively large size might create an unacceptable level of wind resistance. The iPhone came off when my speed reached about 60, spun to the Earth, crashed through the canopy of trees, then notified my wife of a 'crash' (causing her to freak out of course), then 'told' me where it was, then emitted an alert signal so I could find it two miles from the airport in the woods, and was still recording! The iPhone sustained no damage whatsoever!
