My Cub will be headed to IN for restoration in a year or so and I'm getting some of the smaller items out of the way in the mean time. I have a few instruments I'll be sending off to Keystone or Wolf for overhaul. What are the rules related to markings on the instruments? I see some with the upper and lower limits for temp & pressure, airspeed markings, rpm max, etc and others with no markings. Also, is there a recommendation on whether or not to have the markings placed on the face cards when they're replaced or put the markings on the glass? I'll have a duplicate set of instruments for backups, so would rather do it all once.

Thanks for the input.
