Hello all. I've run into another problem (seems nothing goes easy). I have removed the hub from a tapered shaft engine with no problem but now the hub key is stuck tight in the crankshaft keyway. I tried some tapping and a small screw driver but cannot get it to move. No apparent rust or damage. Before I do something stupid and ruin the crank I wanted to ask you good folk for suggestions. Tried searching for previous discussions but nothing showed up.

Usually these keys fall out after the hub is pulled. Thanks for any help, Bill
