Hello everyone
Thank you for accepting me.
I'm a private pilot living in Bienne, Switzerland and have always had a soft spot for taildraggers, especially Piper Cubs.
After flying the Cub of the airclub of Langenthal intensively for more than a year, I thought it was about time to look for my own. I was fortunate to find and buy a month ago an L4 of 1942, Serial No. 10457, HB-ODN, which was restored to be as close as possible to what it was when it left the factory. I fly it now as often as I cn and enjoy it a lot.
However I still have A LOT to learn about the history of this wonderful airplane and I find real pleasure in discovering the various topics addressed on this Platform.
Enclosed a few photographs of the new family member (my wife and children won't like that) and of my first flight from Langenthal (LSPL) to La Côte (LSGP).
