Hi all,

The current hangar for my '39 J3 has a sturdy storm grate which I tie the tail down to. I am potentially moving to a new T hangar that has no storm grates in front of it, and the closest tie down spot is across the field.

Posting here to see if anyone has any ideas of how to secure the aircraft on bare pavement while hand propping. I obviously use chocks but would like more security. I was thinking a portable 5 gal bucket with concrete to at least add some weight to the tail? Or tie down to the hangar door somehow?

Thanks!
