Getting my gear Vs ready for precover inspection. After reading many comments in the forums I'm replacing my Cleveland brakes with Grove brakes and rims. Many reasons, lower weight being the most important with regaining the Cub look 8.00x4 wheels and tires being a close second.

The Cleveland brakes mounted in front of the axle. Grove lists that as an alternate location. Not sure of the Cleveland caliper ground clearance, but the aft of the axle Grove clearance looks less to me. What are your recommendations for the Grove calipers? Behind the axle or in front?
