John T. Walker photos that chronicle his Air Op experience in the Italian campaign up to his death in 1945 at age 32 in a transport plane crash.

Some nice L-4 and L-5 photos. L-4 photo on pg 5 showing a small piece of the rear seat "CUB" seat belt.

Photo on pg 1 showing the L-4 ready for night recon has grooved tires like a standard 800x4, with what looks to be a diamond tread pattern around the inner and outer shoulder of the tire. And something mounted on the center vee cabane of the landing gear, venturi?
