I have been informed the dimensions of the “C” channel to the left and right of the windshield, is likely a different between pre and post war. Is this erroneous information? The dimension I have for a 46 J3 is 1.225” wide (od) by .500” deep. Anybody know for sure?

Thanks,

Zach
