I have an original fuel tank drain valve. These have no seal, relying instead on finely machined mating surfaces. It works well for the most part, but occasionally a piece of grit will prevent the drain from fully closing and fuel will continue to drip. Is the SAF-AIR CAV 160-H4 1/4" NPT valve a direct replacement for the original? Might be nice to have around as a spare. Aircraft Spruce carries these. Thanks!
