The tapered plug type two-input fuel selector of my 1941 J4A Cub has gradually become bound up after about 30 hrs since being disassembled and lubed 4 years ago with Fuel Lube. It is a real a real bitch to get all the fuel drained and get the selector guts out. It is apart again now for annual inspection

I use the fuel selector often to shut off the fuel when parked for extended time. There must be a more appropriate lube. Does anyone have a better lube solution?
