I've often wondered what kind of forces are exerted on and in what direction at the spar attach points. For example, the front center main attach point. Are forces being exerted upwards, due to lift, and outward, because of drag?
What about the rear attach points, is the force being exerted inwards? Any idea how strong these forces are?
Just something I've thought about from time to time over the years. What do you think?
