I have a 46 cub with an 85 hp engine. Just flew it from Paris Texas to it's new home at Sonoma Sky Park North of San Francisco. During the trip I was losing about 1 qt of oil every two hours. It looks like most of it is coming from the overflow tube that is connected to the engine block where the drive shaft is near the prop.

I've heard that there is a simple way to fix this but I can't seem to find any info online about it. If you have any suggestions please help.

I'll take some photos and post them tomorrow to explain exactly what I'm looking at.
