First Solo

My grandson, Kyle Struck made his first solo flight on his 16th birthday, August 11, 2020 in NC7427H on floats. I had 17.4 hours of flight time when I bought this Cub in 1964 and it taught me how to fly. My son Derek made his first solo on his 16th birthday in this Cub on floats on Sept. 11.1993 with me as his flight instructor. Derek is Kyle's uncle and flight instructor.
