I just had a second sump valve fail in about two years. The first valve let loose and dumped about five gallons of fuel on the hanger floor, the second valve dumped a fair amount also. Both valves where closed And not dripping when left for the day. What is the consensus on these valves? I’m not really hip on a valve that relies on a spring to keep sealed. Are there other legal, safe options?
