Just doing some local flying today and start up and T/O was normal, start up(40-45) idle PSI is around 25psi Oil pressure and T/O is usually 40-50psi depending on Temps. While I was cruising back home about 10 miles from airport I noticed Oil pressure was around 20-25PSI when normally it’s 35-40 cruise. Its 80° And humid today. Oil Temp was steady 175° Ish and no anomalies with engine. Landed and taxied back and by the time the I got to Hangar pressure was around 10psi. I looked evrything over, checked oil and it was at it’s happy 3.5qts. I added another 1/4qt and started up and was back to normal, 25-30 at idle. Did a loop around the pattern and all is well. Possible guage issue or should I be looking elsewhere? Can’t imagine a 1/4 qt would make that much of a difference?

FWIW seems to burn maybe 1/2qt every 10hrs or so.

Some other info.

oil Guage was overhauled in 2008 and then again in 2014

i read that the accessory case and Oil pump are usually the culprit of low oil Pressure. Going through my M/X records, I see in March 2016 DIVCO in Oklahoma

“CLEAN, INSPECT, REPAIRED BOT GEAR SHAFT HOLES, REPAIRED OIL PUMP CAVITY & CUT OIL PRESSURE SEAT REPAIRED PER DIVCO APPROVED SPECS 77–002 . So I’m assuming, hoping that’s not the issue
