Putting my Cub away yesterday I noticed a three inch split in the top of the right wing just forward of the trailing edge and just outboard of the butt rib. There is a diagonal brace directly under the split which runs from the trailing edge to the butt rib. There is no reinforcing tape over the fabric there. The fabric touches the diagonal brace so I am assuming it is either bent/misaligned or there should be a tape or both. At any rate, I'm going to be needing a patch on my wing. :(

I haven't checked on my brother's Cub, don't expect the fabric should be touching the brace. Thoughts?
