My tailpipe popped out while flying Saturday. I didn’t lose it but when I pulled the carburetor heat, it sputtered some bad !
After landing I simply pulled the shroud off too. Nothing was holding them on.
So a friend informed me that it has a clamp that holds the pipe together.
I’d like to see a real life picture of it if anyone has one.
Any ideas why it sputtered so bad with the carb heat on. The tailpipe was hanging out several inches.
