I noticed my exhaust manifold has a small leak right at the flange(I think No. Four cylinder), front Left side regardless. I have replaced the seal and the leak did stop for several months.

It looks like the flange is bent down on the outer tabs....like someone over tightened the flange. My question, I'm thinking about removing the manifold and having the flanges machined (flattened) and wanted some input on this. I didn't want to have too much metal removed and compromise the flange welds.

Thanks, Kevin
