Fortunately it was before lift off. Interesting symptoms - opinions will be welcomed.

Runs fine. The other day it lost rpm while at full power in flight, but regained it right after I throttled back.
So I checked the gascolator and flow, and went out to try it today. 20 minute runup, including three minutes at full throttle - all normal.
Line up & Wait, so I did that at full power. OK for another 30 seconds. The minute I passed 15 kts it quit. Started right up at idle throttle.

My current theory: either the float is getting stuck “up”, keeping the needle seated, or some intermittent obstruction is occurring in the float bowl vent.

Changing the carb Saturday, but wide open to ideas. I have only had three engine failures in the Cub over 5000 hours, and this one is a new one for me.
