Attached is a 5 page drawing set for a Tail Wheel Lift I designed and fabricated. It works good for lifting the tail of my 1940 Clip Wing Cub for easier (back saving) maintenance/inspection/cleaning - it also allows easy placement of a saw horse under the tail spring for tail wheel maintenance/removal. The lift is tall enough to raise the tail to be raised a few inches above the point where the Cub is level for checking wing and tail rigging - refer to the second photo for a black mark on the angled vertical slide support where my cub is level with main tires properly inflated.
The lift is easily fabricated from big box store wood and hardware (no welding required).

Enjoy!
