Did any L-4's fly in the South Pacific Island of Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides?

Hi all,

First post.

Am building a wooden cub replica here in the South Pacific Paradise that is Vanuatu, known as the New Hebrides during World War II. America had her largest Pacific military base outside of Hawaii here on the island of Espiritu Santo which served as the basing ground for hundreds of aircraft and hundreds of thousands of troops before they went up North into the gruesome Solomon Islands battles.

The South Pacific World War Two museum is being set up here and would like to paint the Cub in the colors of an L-4 that flew here.

Does anyone therefore know of any L-4s that flew in Espiritu Santo, New Hebrides please?

Yours faithfully,
Paul Dalley
